*For clients who relapse or come into the house with very little time sober, Sunset Statue implements a more structured program to help them regain stability and successful independence. For the first 30 days we ask that the individual temporarily relinquish possession of his or her phone, computer, car, and money/credit cards. In that 30 days the individual is to participate in all house activities, attend daily 12 step meetings, and be working with a therapist and sponsor. As the individual proves to be establishing a more solid foundation and shows that they are prioritizing their recovery, he or she is given more freedom and access to their surrendered items.
